During the annual compilation of our catalogue, we rely on a vast range of references. Most of the original comments on our web site therefore have come from experts working in fields other than herbs. To these authors we are very grateful and can recommend their plant books wholeheartedly. Compilations, anthologies and translations are shown in capitalised italics. Although you may have to buy second hand in some cases, everything on this list is in modern English. Please ask if you are interested in Middle English and classical texts.
